Today's Dinner :)

Hi Everybody!!

I had a day off today (which is happening more often than I'd like it to lately, but it gives me so much more time to post wonderful things like this!), so I went shopping with the lovely April (dawnofapril.blogspot.ca), and my boyfriend, Wayne, and I had her and her boyfriend, Chris, over for dinner this evening.

I made something I don't normally make, but I may start thinking about making it more often because it was so damn delicious. I did kind of wing it when it came to the recipe because I have never made these before, but I do remember the ingredients I used for this purpose as well as making them in the future.

What I served was 'Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Chicken Thighs'. Since I'm paleo, this was perfect for me and not too limiting for our guests. I seasoned the thighs with ground sea salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. I then stuffed the thighs with sauteed mushrooms (sauteed in coconut oil with just a touch of ground sea salt and ground black pepper) and cut in half raw asparagus. They were then wrapped in bacon and put in the oven at 350 degrees for around 30-40 minutes. This was also served with a garden salad.

I made double what the pictures show because there were four of us including two grown men (who everyone knows can eat a lot), but just for the purpose of this blog I only took pictures of the before and after of one of the trays.

I hope your mouth waters as much as mine did when they were in the oven and all I could do was smell the bacon cooking.
Thanks for reading!!

Hi! :)

Hi Everybody!!
I'm so new it's not even funny. I really don't know what the hell I'm doing right now other than typing random gibberish in hopes that any or all of you will read it and *hopefully* enjoy it enough to continue reading :)

I am going to try my best to blog as often as I possibly can, but, as I said, bear with me, as I'm a newborn at this.

A very wonderful friend of mine is actually the reason I'm starting this. Her name is April and she got up the nerve to start her own beauty blog and it really inspired me to want to do something similar. If anyone is interested in checking her blog out, she is 'That Girl That Likes Makeup', or dawnofapril.blogspot.ca. :)

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read about mine!

Product Review :)

Hi Everybody!!

This being my first post and product review, please bear with me as I have no idea what I'm doing except typing my opinion....
I bought these two products at the local Rexall on a whim. The gloves were I think $2, and the scrub was around the $8 mark.
The reason I'm posting about the two of them at the same time is because I used them together and I haven't used either one just on its own, and I probably won't.
To use (in the shower, of course) put the gloves on, wet them in the running water, scoop a finger's worth of the scrub onto the glove, and exfoliate the crap out of your legs and/or arms. This will help get rid of dead skin cells, which is definitely beneficial considering it's Spring and we want to start showing off our smooth legs, right? The scrub smells wonderful; it is a very light and fresh scent (if you enjoy scents along the apricot/peach/mango line). I would recommend using these once every 1-2 weeks as you feel is needed. They should both last quite a while, but when the scrub runs out, I will most likely repurchase this exact product, if not something very similar.
These products are not to be used on your face. They are much too abrasive for the thin, sensitive skin of your face. Just a friendly reminder :)

I believe that's all I have to say about these products.

Be Wonderful :)
