Limited Edition Sonia Kashuk Makeup Brushes

Hi Everybody!!

I got these GORGEOUS brushes were limited edition makeup brushes from Target before the terrible news came about the store closing.

The gold and black brush set is from the 'All That Jazz' collection

The purple and gold brushes are from the '15th Anniversary' collection

They are all beautiful, and so soft. I don't necessarily use all of the brushes for what they're supposed to be used for, but I definitely use them all, and that's what important to me considering I have a problem with using brand new items.

I think that's it. I just wanted to show off my fabulous brushes.

Be Wonderful :)

Late Christmas :)

Hi Everybody!

In trying to keep up with posts that I have failed at keeping up with, here is another post, and this is all about what I got for Christmas from the wonderful +April Richardson. We exchanged gifts in mid-January-ish, and it was one of the best gifts I received. Of course it was entirely makeup related, which is what makes it so exciting!

I still haven't used 2 of the 4 palettes, but I have come to a conclusion that I have so much eyeshadow that I will never be able to use it in my entire life, so I have been breaking into my new stuff much more than I used to.

As follows, here are all of the amazing gifts she got me:

Sephora Palette
Flower Beauty Palette
Lorac Pro 2 Palette
Lorac Mega Pro Palette
Nars 'Ita' Brush
E.L.F. Brush
Flower Beauty Brush
Flower Beauty Lengthening Mascara
Rimmel Eye Shadow Primer
NYC Bronzer
Covergirl Lipstick
Covergirl Lipgloss
Chocolate 'S'

Holy shit, right? How beautiful is everything??! I have used almost everything. And soon it will be everything. Promise.

That's all for this post! Thanks!

Target Liquidation :(

Hi Everybody!

If you've read my previous post about losing my job, you know I don't have a whole lot of information other than the garbage they've been feeding us for the past 3 weeks. I heard a couple days ago about when the liquidation is supposed to start, and that day is tomorrow. Luckily I don't work until Monday, so hopefully the vultures have come and gone for the most part by then. We don't have any more information regarding what kind of sales there are going to be, but apparently it's going to be 'like Black Friday'. I think that may be just a little more bullshit sprinkled on top of the garbage dump of everything else we're being told. As far as I was told at work yesterday, Target was supposed to go to court today to determine which liquidation companies would be taking over the sales, and I was speaking with another team member yesterday who told me that when Zellers went into liquidation, the initial sales were only 10% off regular prices. So I'm not getting my hopes up for anything out of this world in regards to the sales that will be happening.

That being said, I made quite the list of things I want for when the store does liquidate. Mostly household things, like medicine and toiletries, and paper products, but there are also many makeup items I want (obviously). I got a new set of Alex drawers from IKEA for Christmas, and the drawers aren't full to their whole potential yet, so I need to change that.

Anyway, that's all for now! Thanks!

Happy Weekend!!

Hi Everybody!!

Tonight's post is brought to you by a wonderful weekend I had :)

As some of you may know, I do my aunt's hair every Friday morning. So that's normal to start out my day. But I had an appointment for a one hour aroma therapy massage that was given to me for Christmas by two of my aunts whose hair I dye and style. So I actually went with my friend Sarah because she also had a gift certificate for the exact same thing from her boyfriend. So we went as a 'couples' massage'. It was pretty hilarious and awkward for a little bit. But the girls were very professional so I really appreciated that.

After the fantastic massage, we went shopping for a few groceries to prepare some food for the Super Bowl on Sunday evening. I went home and relaxed for a bit, and Friday night I went to The Beer Exchange for a 'Sushi & Wine/Beer Pairing' with Wayne, Sarah, and her boyfriend Ryan. It was unbelievable. It was a business mash up between The Beer Exchange and Midori Sushi, which is based in Grand Bend, Ontario, and they make the BEST sushi I've ever had in my life. Hands down.

I worked early the next morning so that was boring and I was very tired all day so I went to bed at 6pm and slept until 330am when I got up to get ready for work again. I worked Sunday, came home, and made food for 4 hours in preparation for the Super Bowl. Wayne and I had some company over and we all sat down to the giant FEAST of food for the game. Yes, we watched it. Yes, I was going for Seattle. No, I don't want to talk about it.

That was my weekend. How was yours?? Did any of you watch the Super Bowl? Who were you going for? What else did you do?

Thanks!

Be Wonderful :)
